How to recognize and overcome hypocrisy

(Yes, yes, I know Robert Downey Jr. – like most hollywood actors – is pushing various agendas of deceit, while being a knowing or unknowing accomplice to the pedophilia and sex trafficking that Hollywood pretty much relies on – if not one, himself. Doesn’t take away from the accuracy of the meme, though.)

Hypocrisy is a funny thing, isn’t it? A sad, disgusting and sometimes enraging thing, but funny either way. In that tragically amusing sort of way.

Hypocrisy is simply the attempt to blame or accuse someone else of doing something that you think or believe is wrong or bad (or which you disagree with), while at the same time doing the same thing, yourself. Either literally the same thing, or something that may be different on the surface, but still the same thing in essence.

Take, for example… an addicted smoker and an alcoholic walk into a bar – ha, ha, that’s how that type of joke starts. Anyway, they sit at a table and start calling each other addicts, while continuing to compulsively “savour” their drinks and cigarettes – otherwise entering withdrawal mode if they’re without them. Someone else walks into a bar, who neither smokes nor drinks, and tells them that smoking and drinking isn’t healthy, before calling them out for their addiction. Then, the addicts both turn towards the third guy, screaming “addict” at him, without actually grasping what they, themselves, are doing.

That’s the basic gist of it. No surprise there.

People who call “hate speech”, most often with hate on their faces, when faced with views they don’t like. People who claim they want peace, but support wars; who say they want freedom, but continue playing the voting game, without realizing that – aside from all the conspiracies and such – government and the belief in so-called “authority”, is nothing more than slavery by design.

People who claim that they appreciate honesty, but lash out and call you an “asshole” when they hear something they don’t like. Or, who say they appreciate genuine people (or claim that they are such), while continuing to be “polite” and let themselves swayed by the opinions of others, or what’s popular. Plenty of other examples. Unfortunately, our society doesn’t have a shortage of hypocrisy, at this time.

Fortunately, it’s very easy to spot hypocritical and dishonest people. Aside from the aforementioned trait of blaming others for their own bullshit, there are a few other traits they exhibit (of course, these may vary from person to person – a majority of people have some degree of hypocrisy, but some seem like they’re addicted to it):

When engaged in conversation or in debates, they almost never tackle the information that’s being presented, especially if they don’t know what they’re talking about.
They resort to ad-hominem or personal attacks. They don’t do this as a way of discerning more about the person they’re talking to. They’re just trying to discredit the person instead of actually discussing the information. They don’t do this to especially when they think they’re at a disadvantage in a debate or conversation.
They’re tend to go off on far flung tangents that either have little or nothing to do with what has been said or presented, or is a complete opposite of what was portrayed or implied.

For example, let’s say someone explains “The quality or accuracy of information does not change just through opinion or popularity. Therefore, if you let yourself swayed by what people say or believe, you’re not gonna know all that much. Spirit, intuition, intelligence, unbiased pondering and investigation, etcetera, need to be expressed and utilized as means of discernment. If criticism and opinions are to be considered, it’s through judging their accuracy and merit, not on the basis of them being opinions or beliefs, nor just upon who it was that said the thing. Of course, there is always more to know than anyone might think or believe they know at any point in time.”

Then, the hypocrite says something along the lines of “Nah, you’re an asshole. You’re just a know-it-all with his head buried in the sand.” before leaving the conversation without actually trying to see if they’re right or wrong in their “assessment”. Kinda shows who the one with their head buried in the dirt actually was, I’d say.

That’s another thing hypocrites and false people tend to do.

They typically want to have the last word, becauase they believe that somehow makes them look tough or makes them more “right” about something.

Aggressiveness over trivial things or without provocation (petty anger, in other words), is also a sign of fake people. Whether that anger is a façade or not, that varies case by case, but people who have little to actually say about something, often look to try and provoke a person, so that they can go back and forth in a flurry of blind arguments, instead of having a conversation.

Hypocrites and fake people don’t like conversation, because it exposes them as being such.

Often times, they grossly misinterpret or misconstrue what is being said; either because they don’t express the ability to read people or deduce the meaning, through context and other factors, or because they deliberately want to try and distract or direct the conversation away from what they don’t feel comfortable with, or from exposing themselves as being wrong or uninformed. Fake people have an ego to uphold. Genuine people do not.

They far more often make statements that they don’t back up with knowledge or discernment, than they ask questions. That’s because they’re not interested in gaining knowledge. They’re interested in upholding an ego or a faith-based belief system.

And, of course, they all try to deceive and manipulate, as is their modus operandi. Again, to varying extents, but attempt to deceive – however mild or severe, as well as however knowingly or unknowingly it’s being done – is still there.

In finishing this article, I want to point out that if we want to grow in consciousness, as living beings and also as individuals, we need to stop blaming ourselves for other people’s bullshit, as well as likewise stop blaming others for our own.

I also want to explain how deceit and manipulation are never actual skills. Why? Because all deceit relies on the gullibility of whoever it is that’s the sought-after target of that manipulation. In other words, anything that relies on someone else having a weakness, is not a skill or ability.

A genuine, self sufficient and self improving ability is something that, well… improves and evolves no matter the hurdles, and has everything to gain from facing challenges.

The parasites and manipulators, be they human (diploid, tetraploid, hexaploid and otherwise) or non-human, fundamentally rely on the public’s ignorance and stupidity. That’s why they occult (i.e. hide or obscure) information. Because they know that if it were exposed and were largely known, their schemes would collapse pretty much immediately.

And holy shit, it’s falling. It’s falling down hard, and it’s because more and more people are waking up from their coma. The parasites wouldn’t be so blatant and desperate about it, if they believed they were winning. Or, they may very well “believe” they’re winning, but in their vanity and ego-addiction, that may just be their way of refusing to admit their own errors and fallibility.

Like someone staring point blank in their compass and refusing to look around, refusing to acknowledge that their compass might fail them, while they’re driving towards a canyon.
